Mission Pet Health in Minnesota is seeking an urgent care Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team. You will perform triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

You will explain treatments to pet owners, review discharge instructions, and contribute to a calm, focused team environment in a fast-paced setting. AVMA-accredited degree and state license required; emergency experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Ability to work with animals of all temperaments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative team approach.
• One year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under veterinarian supervision.
• Explain treatments, review discharge instructions, and reassure pet owners during stressful moments.
• Lead and support teammates to maintain smooth workflow and collaborative care.
