Livewell Animal Urgent Care of Minnetonka is hiring a credentialed veterinary technician to provide urgent care and emergency services under veterinary supervision. You will perform triage, monitoring, and critical care, while communicating clearly with pet owners and supporting the team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include AVMA-accredited technician training and a current state license, with preference for experience in urgent care or emergency settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Strong proficiency in emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Ability to handle animals of varying temperaments and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilization, patient monitoring, and critical care under supervision.
• Explain treatments and discharge instructions clearly to pet owners.
• Lead and support teammates to maintain a smooth, collaborative workflow.
• Maintain accurate records for patient handoffs and case management.
