WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team. You will support front desk and clinical operations, taking patient histories, measuring vital signs, and assisting providers during exams in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires 6+ months in a PCT or similar, EMT Basic or CMA preferred, and familiarity with EMR systems. CPR certification is required or obtainable. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth as WellNow expands.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy.
• Ability to use EMR and register patients efficiently.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples (if certified).
• Complete lab paperwork for tests and samples.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, glucose, etc.).
• Schedule and coordinate ancillary care records.
• Assist providers with exams and testing and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Maintain examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Document patient histories and exam findings.
