WellNow Urgent Care in the United States is seeking a Patient Care Technician to bridge front-end and clinical operations, supporting rapid, quality care for urgent cases. The role emphasizes patient history, vital signs, phlebotomy (if certified), and accurate medical record documentation within EMR systems.

Qualifications include at least 6 months in a similar role; preferred experience in Urgent Care or Occupational Medicine, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and/or Phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified.
• Complete lab paperwork and enter results in EMR.
• Perform point of care testing (strep, glucose, influenza, etc.).
• Schedule and coordinate records for ancillary care.
• Assist providers with exams and testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ensure exam rooms stocked and equipment working.
