WellNow Urgent Care in New York seeks a Patient Care Technician to support both front-end and clinical operations. You will take histories, record vitals, assist with exams, and help prepare labs in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as Patient Care Technician or related healthcare role.
• Preferred Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine or Phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to identify equipment issues and report them promptly.
• Strong communication and teamwork with patients and staff.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take patient history and record vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy if certified and collect samples.
• Complete lab paperwork and enter data in EMR.
• Assist providers with exams and testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ensure exam rooms are tidy and stocked.
