Job summary

UCHealth in Firestone, CO is seeking a Full Time on-site urgent care professional to provide emergent/urgent patient care under a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or RN. The role expects hands-on patient flow management, examination preparation, and bedside support in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS, IV proficiency within 6 months, and licensure such as CMA/RMA/EMT/LPN.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates flow of patients in the department to optimize throughput and informs about delays.
• Monitors patients and notifies provider if distress; assists during examination.
• Inserts Foley catheters, performs complex splinting and venipuncture for blood draws.
• Maintains exam/treatment rooms; cleans equipment; manages supplies.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and critical thinking.
