Job summary

UCHealth Urgent Care in Longmont is seeking staff to provide emergent/urgent patient care under physician oversight. This onsite role emphasizes efficient patient flow, rapid assessment, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting during examinations, preparing patients, and maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms while adhering to department guidelines. BLS CPR certification and applicable licensure are required to start.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; CPR/BL S credentialing as specified in department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow in the department to optimize throughput.
• Monitor patient distress and alert providers and RNs as needed.
• Assist during examination and prepare patients for care.
• Maintain exam/treatment rooms, equipment, and supply levels.
