Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care unit to provide high-acuity nursing care to diverse patients, from neonates to geriatrics, in a fast-paced environment.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with the health care team, coordinate services across the system, and adhere to KFHPW standards and ethics. WA RN license required; ACLS/BLS; and PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License: RN required at hire
• Basic Life Support required at hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process, conducts ongoing assessment and plans care for a defined patient group.
• Collaborates with the health care team to implement and evaluate care plans.
• Provides teaching and counseling congruent with learning needs and medical plan.
• Prioritizes patient care, ensures safety, and documents interventions per standards.
• Coordinates care across the health care delivery system and supports patient families.
