Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Seattle is seeking an Urgent Care RN to provide high‑acuity nursing in a fast paced environment, rotating through ED, SPU, IVR, Preop, Postop and Med Surg Telemetry. Night shifts, 5–12 hours, with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will assess patients, coordinate care with the health care team, and follow ambulatory nursing standards. WA state RN license, BLS, ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months. Perioperative or ED experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• WA State RN license or Compact license required at hire.
• BLS and ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs and develop a written plan of care.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and communicate with patients and families.
• Deliver nursing interventions safely and competently in a high‑acuity setting.
• Promote health teaching and discharge planning per KFHPW standards.
