Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License: Registered Nurse required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• Communication, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process, provides ongoing assessment of the nursing care needs of a defined group of patients and develops a written plan of care.
• Assess and coordinate care for patients across segments of the health care delivery system.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with the health care team and family.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status with prioritization and clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families, promote health and safety, and participate in quality improvement activities.
