Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Washington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Urgent Care setting. Provide nursing care to a defined patient group, coordinate services across the care continuum, and participate in care planning with the health care team.

In a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, you will assess patients from neonates to geriatrics, prioritize care, and support patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License (Washington) or Compact License at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process, assesses nursing care needs and develops a plan of care.
• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate services and education.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients across the care continuum.
• Maintain high standards of safety, infection control and patient privacy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.
