Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Washington is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide urgent care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess patients, coordinate care with the health care team, and implement care plans for diverse patient populations from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Washington RN license required at hire or Compact License acceptable at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• ACLS required at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process, assess the nursing care needs of a defined group of patients and develop a care plan.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients in collaboration with the health care team.
• Deliver care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Urgent Care setting across age groups (neonates to geriatrics).
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other health care team members; prioritize urgent needs and provide telephone/face-to-face guidance as needed.
• Support adherence to KFHPW nursing standards, policies, and infection control guidelines.
