Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Urgent Care Rep dedicated to delivering outstanding patient service and accurate registrations in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role provides training, benefits (Health, Dental, Vision), PTO, tuition reimbursement, 401k match, and performance bonuses, with a rotating schedule including weekends.

You will handle patient information, registrations, charges, and inquiries across multiple systems, contributing to smooth clinic

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent.
• 6 months of healthcare experience or 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the urgent care operation by obtaining accurate patient and client information
• Completing accurate and timely registrations
• Collecting and posting charges and payments
• Working in multiple systems simultaneously
• Answering patient and client questions
• Distributing information to patients and clients including medical record
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Location: Clearwater, FL
• Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
• Twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday (or until the last patient leaves) with two days on, then two days off rotation.
• This will include every other weekend (Weekend Differential may apply)
