Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an energetic Radiology Technologist to handle radiology duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting alongside a collaborative team.

You will assist providers with exams, manage patient vitals, and ensure accurate EMR/EHR documentation while adhering to safety and accreditation requirements. A state or national radiology license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology program.
• Current State Radiology Certification or National Radiology License is required.
• CPR certification from a recognized organization is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice per NextCare policies and state rules.
• Assists providers with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Maintains EMR/EHR proficiency and accurate patient records.
• May collect urine samples for testing as needed.
• Supports wound care and oxygen administration as required.
• Notifies the provider on duty promptly of unusual patient occurrences and safety concerns.
• Adheres to laboratory and accreditation policies.
