Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic (X-Ray) Technologist for its Urgent Care in Stafford. You will register patients, perform radiographic procedures, assist clinicians, and manage documentation to ensure accurate patient records and efficient flow.

The role supports front and back office duties and maintains safety standards throughout patient care. The position requires a two-year radiologic technology program, VA licensure, BLS certification, and proficiency with EPIC/EHR

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist Licensure required.
• BLS for Health Care Providers certification required.
• Experience with EPIC or similar EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and guests, registers and collects payments.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and performs X-rays.
• Documents procedures and transfers images to radiology group.
• Assists provider with patient care and basic labs/directed meds.
• Maintains supplies, cleans equipment, and ensures safety compliance.
