Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist to provide clinical and administrative support under supervision. The role includes patient positioning, image labeling, order monitoring, and collaboration with Radiology for over-reads.

Compliance with HIPAA and health information management is essential, along with equipment maintenance and patient triage. Active ARRT and State licenses, TB/IV certification within 60 days, and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT License and State License required and active.
• TB and IV Certification required to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• CPR license required as part of additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support per Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist role.
• Monitor and track x-ray orders for timely submission.
• Assist patient positioning to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and health information management requirements.
• Review exam images for provider initial read and send to Radiology group for over-read.
• Label laterality accurately and manage artifacts explanations.
• Address minor maintenance issues and coordinate with clinic director.
• Maintain equipment and cassettes, ensure cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
• Triage patients, record vitals and clinical history; perform basic nursing tasks when applicable.
• Participate in compliance training and welcome new employees.
