Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Radiology Technician (RT) or PTR/Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced urgent care team. You will perform radiology duties, assist providers with exams, and ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a collaborative back-office setting.

Requirements include a PTR or RT license, completed MA training, and a current CPR certification. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate documentation, and adherence to policy. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a current PTR license or Medical Radiography license.
• Must have completed an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification via CMA/CCMA/AMT is acceptable if non-accredited MA training was completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within NextCare scope and state rules.
• Assists provider with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administers medications per policy and safety protocols.
• May collect urine samples for testing including employer drug screens.
• Supports wound care, casting, and various urgent-care procedures.
• Notifies provider and Clinic Manager of important patient or safety events.
• Proficient in EMR/EHR and follow accreditation policies.
