Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Round Rock, TX is seeking an energetic Radiology Technician (RT) or PTR/LSO/LMRT/LSRT to join our fast-paced, team-based environment. You will perform radiology duties, assist providers, and support direct patient care in urgent care settings.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a radiology diploma/certificate or equivalent experience, certification as RT or PTR/LSO/LMRT/LSRT, and current CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology program and/or equivalent experience.
• Current CPR certification from a recognized provider is required.
• Licensed as RT or PTR/LSO/LMRT/LSRT as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology duties within the scope of practice and regulatory rules.
• Assist providers with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• May collect urine for testing, including employer drug screens.
• May perform splinting and casting as needed.
• Conduct physicals such as sports physicals as required.
• Carry out other related duties per policy.
