Job summary

Northwest Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform full-scope diagnostic radiography in a fast-paced urgent care setting in Tucson and Oro Valley, AZ. You will ensure patient safety, optimize image quality, and collaborate with clinicians to support timely imaging and patient care.

The position requires 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience, ARRT certification, state license as applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as Radiologic Technologist or Limited-Scope Radiologic Technologist.
• Advanced knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and anatomy.
• Strong familiarity with PACS and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per orders.
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly.
• Position patients for optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Evaluate images for quality before interpretation.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and perform QC checks.
