Job summary

Northwest Healthcare in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for our Urgent Care, performing full-scope diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring safety and high image quality.

You will collaborate with clinicians, verify orders, educate patients on procedures, and document imaging in the EHR/PACS. Some travel to other locations may be required; ARRT certification and state licensure are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited-Scope Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in urgent care or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Explain procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure and adhering to ALARA principles.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in EHR/PACS.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and perform routine quality control checks.
