Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Northwest Urgent Care in Tucson, AZ will perform full-scope diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images while protecting patients and staff. You will collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Required ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, and BLS. 1–2 years of radiology experience are expected; outpatient or urgent care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience required.
• Urgent care or outpatient setting experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required; state license as applicable; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs full-scope diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity, explains procedures and provides clear instructions.
• Positions patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Evaluates images for quality and completeness before interpretation.
• Operates, maintains, and QC radiographic equipment per safety standards.
