Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to deliver medical care in an outpatient setting without pre-scheduled appointments. The physician reports to the Associate Medical Director and works with a multidisciplinary team to provide timely diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for acute and chronic conditions.

• Promotes excellence in healthcare for minor injury and illness care and on-site X-Ray services.
• Comfortable working as a solo provider with Physician Director access by phone.
• Diagnoses and treats acute or chronic conditions and orders/interprets diagnostic studies.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions with prescriptive authority or referrals.
• Counsels patients and families on preventative care and community resources.
• Responds to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborates with Physician Director and multidisciplinary team to implement orders and care plans.
• Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
