Job summary

Legacy Health is seeking a physician to provide a broad range of urgent care and primary care services, including assessing acute conditions, selecting diagnostics, and managing patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have board certification eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine, an active medical license, and experience with EMR systems. Strong communication and patient-focused care are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school required.
• 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience required.
• Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS/AOA board in Family or Emergency Medicine; active state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients.
• Take patients’ medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays.
• Diagnose and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries requiring sutures, splints, or casting.
• Record progress notes for follow-up patients.
• Educate and counsel patients; order/perform therapy.
• Give vaccinations and refer to additional care.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented.
