Job summary

AltaMed Health Services seeks a Staff Physician for Urgent Care to deliver prompt medical care for non-life-threatening conditions in a busy clinic. You will diagnose and treat patients, manage care plans, and uphold high standards of patient safety and experience.

Qualifications include an MD/DO, CA license, residency completion, and board eligibility or certification, with ongoing CME participation to stay current in practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Unrestricted CA medical license required or eligible.
• Board certification in chosen specialty or board-eligible with plan to certify within 18 months.
• Completion of a residency program in an appropriate field.
• Ongoing continuing medical education to stay current.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients in an urgent care setting.
• Provide high-quality patient care and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
