Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to provide comprehensive care across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations within an Urgent Care setting.

The role includes leadership and growth opportunities, a balanced work-life due to limited shifts per month, and on-site Laboratory and Radiology support to streamline patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience is preferred but not required.
• Occupational medicine experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric populations.
• Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine including injury and illness care, minor procedures, workers' compensation, DOT and sports physicals.
• Responsible for appropriateness, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the medical care provided by our physicians and advanced practice providers.
• 14 clinical shifts per month within our Urgent Care practice, 1 weekend shift per month and holiday rotation.
