Indiana University Health Downtown Indianapolis is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to deliver comprehensive care to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients with leadership growth opportunities. The role includes a balanced schedule with limited shifts per month and on-site laboratory and radiology support.

The position emphasizes high-quality care, efficiency, and collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers in a busy Urgent Care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree and be board-certified in EM, IM or FM.
• Emergency/urgent care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to deliver care across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric, adult and geriatric clinical care in Urgent Care.
• Perform injuries, illnesses, minor procedures, and occupational health tasks.
• Ensure quality, efficiency and appropriate medical care by physicians and APPs.
• Maintain 14 clinical shifts per month, plus 1 weekend shift and holiday rotation.

Locations include on-site Laboratory and Radiology.

Position Details:

• Provide clinical care to Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric population
• Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine including injury and illness care, minor procedures, workers' compensation, DOT and sports physicals
• Responsible for appropriateness, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the medical care provided by our physicians and advanced practice providers
• 14 clinical shifts per month within our Urgent Care practice, 1 weekend shift per month and holiday rotation

Qualifications:

• Must be MD or DO
• BC in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine orFamily Medicine
• Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience preferred, but not required
• Occupational medicine experience preferred, but not required
