Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care in Perry, GA is hiring a board-certified/board-eligible physician to deliver high-quality urgent care to adults and children. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, document carefully, and collaborate with a regional medical team to maintain exceptional patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice in the state.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Credentialing eligibility as per WellStreet Urgent Care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction through courteous service.
• Provide patient care in accordance with policies and bylaws.
• Serve as a resource for patient, family, and staff.
• Document services and maintain complete medical records accurately.
• Complete necessary documentation for appropriate reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities; maintain certifications as required.
