Piedmont Urgent Care is opening a new center in Perry, GA, and is seeking talented physicians dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. This role emphasizes high-quality medical care, patient satisfaction, and collaborative teamwork in a welcoming urgent care environment.

Ideal candidates will be board certified or eligible, with DEA registration and BLS certification. Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine is preferred.

Formación

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed).
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients of all ages.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by adhering to service and courtesy standards.
• Provide patient care within the clinical area in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Document and maintain accurate records of services rendered for appropriate reimbursement.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication for continuity of care.
• Participate in meetings/activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain/progress in certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS as required.
• Report to the Regional Medical Director.
