Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
• Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients, both adults and children
• Delivers the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times
• Provides patient care in accordance with policies and bylaws and maintains proper records
• Maintains and communicates patient information to facilitate care and reimbursement
• Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication for appropriate reimbursement
• Participates in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications
