Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a motivated Paramedic to join our Urgent Care team as an Urgent Care Technician. You will deliver high-quality patient care, assist with exams and testing, document patient histories, and support clinical operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates are licensed paramedics (preferably national certification) with BLS, strong communication skills, and a patient-first approach.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification and demonstrated prior experience: Licensed paramedic (preferably nationally certified) with prior IV experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and identifying immediate healthcare needs.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, spirometry, and point-of-care tests; provide ECGs and oxygen therapy.
• Patient Engagement & Documentation: Maintain electronic medical records and communicate test results and treatment plans to patients.
• Clinic Operations: Ensure instruments are clean, sterilized, and workspace is stocked and organized.
• Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work with providers and other staff to coordinate patient care and training of new team members.
