Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Paramedic (nationally registered EMT) to join our urgent care team. You will contribute to high-quality patient care, collaborate with medical providers, and support a fast-paced clinic environment across ConvenientMD locations.

This role emphasizes triage, diagnostics, wound care, immunizations, and documentation. The ideal candidate has BLS certification, paramedic licensure, and strong teamwork and communication skills, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed paramedic with BLS certification required.
• Experience with IV placement and monitoring preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients by taking vitals, documenting medical history, and identifying urgent care needs.
• Assist with patient exams and support providers during testing and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, urinalysis) and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Provide cardiac and airway management (ECG, AED, nebulizers, oxygen).
• Deliver immunizations and medication administration as regulated.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document patient histories.
