Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Tucson, AZ seeks a part-time clinician to join a fast-paced urgent care team. The role offers autonomy, meaningful community impact, and a supportive clinical leadership with a focus on work-life balance.

Shifts are 12 hours, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, seven days a week, with at least 4 shifts per month. Compensation is $60–$80 per hour plus a monthly productivity bonus, with flexible scheduling and advanced schedules released in advance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license for NP or PA.
• Board certification or eligibility: NCCPA for PA; ANCC/AANP for NP (FNP preferred).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Active BLS certification and EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document patient care accurately in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in line with NextCare clinical standards and values.
