Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team at 2510 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ. This role offers three 12-hour shifts per week, with clinic hours 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM seven days a week.

Our clinicians enjoy a fast-paced, well-supported environment with autonomy and community impact. The ideal candidate holds an active AZ license, board certification or eligibility, a current DEA license, BLS, EHR proficiency, and the ability to care for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona license.
• National board certification or eligibility (PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP).
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable).
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
