Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Callahan, FL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, while leading a small team in a high-volume setting.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. You’ll receive on-site orientation, mentorship, and ongoing training to grow into your role and impact rural communities with accessible care.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required; new graduates welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain; company covers certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common urgent care conditions (cold, flu, strep, etc.)
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign body removal) and suturing
• Provide orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review and over-read radiographs with Radiologist
• Manage general dermatology and eye problems
• Interpret EKGs and handle general emergency management
• Provide GYN care and care for patients of all ages
• Deliver occupational medicine and telemedicine services
• Lead and mentor a small medical assistant team
• Work in a high-volume urgent care environment with leadership responsibilities
• Follow established protocols and ensure patient safety and quality care
