MainStreet Family Care in Dothan, AL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent care and primary care, with training support and access to telemedicine and occupational medicine services.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating conditions within the PA scope.
• Minor procedures (e.g., toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General Dermatology and eye problem management.
• General EKG interpretations.
• Emergency management skills.
• General GYN expertise.
• Treating children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine services.
• Telemedicine.
