MainStreet Family Care in Oxford, NC is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to join a high-volume urgent care team. You will provide full-scope care across ages with robust onboarding, training shifts, and access to ongoing support for decision-making.

The role emphasizes leadership, scalable patient care, and opportunities in telemedicine and occupational medicine, with competitive benefits and a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education (New graduate friendly).
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (we cover the cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine
