Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Kinston, NC, is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to provide patient-focused urgent care across all ages. You will lead a small team, work in a high-volume setting, and participate in on-site orientation and ongoing training to grow in your role.

New graduates welcome; this role offers mentoring, structured protocols, and a pathway to advanced practice within our expanded urgent care and telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating patients across age groups within the PA scope.
• Perform minor procedures (eg, toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of X-rays with Radiologist over-read.
