Job summary

Bestmeduc in Salem, OR, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to provide personalized patient care in our urgent care clinics. You will deliver services focusing on effective communication and thorough evaluation of medical conditions.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to obtain DEA licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis.
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Evaluate patients through physical examinations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
  • Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
  • Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
  • Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director
What’s Required:
  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in thestateor the ability to obtain
  • Ability to obtain:
    • DOT certification within60 daysof hire
    • DEA licensure
  • Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation:

Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
