BestMed Clinics, part of Community Care Partners, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care and occupational medicine team in Cottage Grove, OR. You will provide outpatient care, perform procedures, and coordinate referrals in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license
• Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire
• DEA licensure
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director
