Job summary

BestMed Clinics in McMinnville, OR is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our primary care and occupational medicine team.

You will work in a well-established urgent care network with modern facilities, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package including malpractice coverage and CME support.

Sign-on bonus offered; you will deliver outpatient care, perform procedures, coordinate referrals, and participate in telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state.
• DEA licensure.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in an urgent care setting.
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange referral resources for specialties not provided.
• Evaluate patients with exams to establish diagnosis and plan.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and skills.
• Explain diagnosis and treatment goals to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation with CDI in EMR.
• Provide occupational and telemedicine patient care.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

What’s Required:

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
