Job summary

Community Care Partners in North Bend, OR, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient urgent care and occupational medicine. You will perform procedures, evaluate patients, arrange referrals, and document in EMR with CDI focus. Requires active PA/NP license, DEA, and DOT within 60 days; strong communication skills, and ability to do telemedicine. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state.
• DEA licensure.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in urgent care setting.
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals as needed.
• Arrange referrals for specialties not provided by the organization.
• Evaluate patients and establish diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment goals to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR with CDI focus.
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
• Perform other duties as directed by Medical Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

What's Required:

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain

Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
