BestMed Clinics, part of Community Care Partners, seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for urgent care and occupational medicine in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This outpatient role focuses on delivering personal care with a team that values patient outcomes and provider satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain.
• DEA licensure.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care in urgent care setting.
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals as needed.
• Arrange referrals for non-provided specialties.
• Evaluate patients with physical exams to establish diagnoses and plans.
• Perform procedures within scope and skill.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment goals to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation with proper coding and CDI in EMR.
• Perform occupational and telemedicine patient care.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Medical Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
