Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Oregon seeks urgent care Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) to provide a broad range of clinical services for acute conditions. Roles may involve alternating shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours and require strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree for PAs or a Master’s for NPs, be licensed in the state, and have post-residency experience.

Qualifications

• Urgent care or emergency setting experience is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's for PAs and Master's for NPs required.
• Active state medical licensure and national certification.

Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.Job RequirementsEducation· Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants· Master's Degree required for Nurse PractitionersWork Experience· 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required· Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required· Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferredRequired Licenses/Certifications· National Certification· Active state medical licensureAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required· Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting· Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred· Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records· Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills· Strong communication and customer service skillsEssential FunctionsEssential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives.
