Job summary

Community Health Network-GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide broad clinical services for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute conditions, order tests, and coordinate care with physicians as needed.

The role includes performing minor procedures, administering vaccinations, and documenting care in EMR. Strong assessment, communication, and patient engagement are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC) required.
• Minimum 1 year full-time NP/PA experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, casting, splinting).
• Document encounters and treatment plans in EMR.
• Educate patients on care and prevention; administer vaccines.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed; escalate when appropriate.

We would love for you to become a member of our team!About the RoleAs a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
