Job summary

Legacy Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in the Portland area seeks an experienced APN/PA to deliver urgent care for both pediatric and adult patients. You will perform minor procedures, interpret EKGs and X-rays, and diagnose and treat common acute conditions in a fast-paced setting.

Experience with EPIC EMR, a collaborative team, and potential mentorship are highlighted. A dedicated Scribe may be available at busier centers to support efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience as NP/PA
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients (all ages)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc.) and reading EKGs/X-rays
• PA: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification; NP: Master’s degree with AANC/AANP certification

Responsibilities

• Treat both pediatric and adult patients (ages 6 months and up).
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, etc.) and provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe treatments/medications.
• Collaborate with on-site staff including Scribe.
• Operate in EPIC EMR in modern urgent care centers.

With over 280 locations nationwide, GoHealth is on a path of continuous growth!Job Summary:We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners who have urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse communities of Portland and Vancouver providers.Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
