Job summary

FastMed Urgent Care in Kinston, NC is seeking an Urgent Care APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for a full-time role with a $25K sign-on. The position emphasizes physician-led urgent care delivery with compassionate hospitality and opportunities for career advancement.

You will provide focused history and exam, order labs and imaging, make treatment decisions, perform minor procedures, and contribute to a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
• North Carolina Medical License and ability to be credentialed in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
• Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
• Minor surgical procedures.
