Job summary

FastMed in Cary, NC is seeking an Urgent Care APP to join our Cornerstone location. This full-time role requires an NP or PA with relevant experience to provide comprehensive urgent care services in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The position involves taking histories, performing exams, ordering labs, and making informed treatment decisions, with opportunities for career growth and a $10K sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
• Prior experience in outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
• Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
• Minor surgical procedures.
