Job summary

FastMed Urgent Care is looking for a Nurse Practitioner in Wilmington, NC, to provide quality urgent care. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, conducting examinations, and administering treatments. Ideal candidates have a background in Emergency or Family Medicine and possess a North Carolina Medical License.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
• Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred.
• North Carolina Medical License required.
• Ability to be credentialed in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform a physical examination.
• Order laboratory and radiographic studies as needed.
• Make therapeutic decisions with the patient.
• Administer appropriate medication or treatment.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.
