Job summary

FastMed Urgent Care in North Carolina is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality healthcare in urgent care settings. The role entails performing physical examinations, coordinating treatment plans, and administering necessary medical interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
• Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
• Administer appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.
