FastMed Urgent Care in North Carolina is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality healthcare in urgent care settings. The role entails performing physical examinations, coordinating treatment plans, and administering necessary medical interventions.

Our ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited program, has at least one year of experience in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine, and is licensed in North Carolina. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive salary, and robust benefits including medical, dental, and wellness packages.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school.
Minimum of one year of experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

Obtain an adequate history and perform an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem.
Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
Administer appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
Perform minor surgical procedures.
