Job summary

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible and licensed to practice in the state
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active SC license and DEA registration or eligibility
• Current DOT certification and BLS certification
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or ED preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adults and children
• Deliver care with Prisma Health Urgent Care’s service standards and patient satisfaction goals
• Document services accurately and ensure communication to facilitate care and reimbursement
• Provide patient/family education and act as a resource for staff
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities
• Maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) and any specialty training as needed
